Placement of paddles

The text references contemporary accounts of two paddle wheels and concludes that side wheels were used but the illustration shows a wheel at the stern. Could there have been two stern wheels next to each other? If so, the text should be changed. Jontel (talk) 14:48, 10 January 2024 (UTC)

::Or at least the picture caption expanded to note the depiction is incorrect (it happened from time to time). I note, however, that the "side-wheel design" sentence is tagged as needing a citation, so I'm a little suspicious. Minturn (talk) 15:00, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
