Nicolas Mathieu ({{IPA|fr|nikɔla matjø}}; born 2 June 1978 in Épinal) is a French author and winner of the Prix Goncourt in 2018.

Biography

It was translated into English in 2021 under the title ("Of Fangs And Talons").

His second novel, Leurs enfants après eux (2018) is about a group of young people in a fictional rural northeastern French town over the course of six years.
