Area of Connecticut

Hi there! The article states the area of Connecticut with 5,018 sq mi (13,023 km²). The source for that is the [https://portal.ct.gov/About/The-Land Official State Website]. However, 5,018 sq mi are in fact 12,996.56 km². 13,023 km² would be more like 5,028 sq mi. It appears the author of the state website made a typo, either with the numbers or with the calculator. What is the correct number now? Best regards, --R.Schuster (talk) 09:57, 22 June 2023 (UTC)

:Additional info: [https://www.census.gov/geographies/reference-files/2010/geo/state-area.html census.gov] says 5,543 sq mi. --R.Schuster (talk) 10:08, 22 June 2023 (UTC)

Greater Boston

Recent edits regarding a link to Greater Boston should reflect the related CSA, whose [https://www2.census.gov/geo/maps/econ/ec2012/csa/EC2012_330M200US148M.pdf map] shows that it includes the northeast corner of Connecticut. As usual, reliable sources are the guideline TEDickey (talk) 19:07, 15 August 2024 (UTC)

:Edited lead section to reflect [https://www2.census.gov/geo/maps/metroarea/us_wall/Jul2023/CSA_WallMap_Jul2023.pdf updated CSAs] as of July 2023. Windham County (now mostly part of the Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region), is redefined as the Putnam, CT µSA within the New Haven-Hartford-Waterbury, CT CSA. jchl97 (talk) 09:25, 26 November 2024 (UTC)

The Greater Boston page still hints that Putnam is part of its CSA. (Actually a more-accessible map would be nice). TEDickey (talk) 21:34, 26 November 2024 (UTC)

Arts/culture

Hello, is there any reason why information about the arts is absent from this article? If not, I would like to create a new section. Connecticut has a vibrant art and music scene, and I would think that deserves mention on this page. (I noticed this omission when I recently created an article about a notable post punk band from the state. I'm having trouble finding related areas on Wikipedia, and categories to link it to.)
