Its deepavali not diwali, change that and keep it as deepavali only, Sanskrit word deepavali is the origin

:{{ping|Vishalg46512}} We use the common name rather than classical names (see WP:COMMONNAME). RegentsPark (comment) 14:40, 13 November 2023 (UTC)

DEEPAVALI is the correct word for this festival. Diwali is a corroded word over time, by simplifying, shortening of the actual word Deepavali. 101.78.85.6 (talk) 11:10, 17 October 2024 (UTC)

Texas misspelt

Texas is misspelt as "Texax" in the article. Please correct. Q3railed (talk) 10:22, 29 October 2024 (UTC)

Addition to Notes - When Diwali and Halloween occur on the same day, it is called Hallowali or Diwaloween

Primary Source Basis for definition claims

The article sources non-Hindu, non-Dharmic, non primary sources to claim Diwali which celebrates return of Sri Rama to Ayodhya is “good over evil, knowledge over ignorance” extremely vague usage of terms without the qualifier “Dharmic notion”. 2600:1009:B185:6F92:C9D1:E25:E580:98C1 (talk) 02:25, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
