My name is Zayd (Arabic : زید ) {Meaning :ever-growing or superabundance} . I reside in Karachi, Pakistan. My username is inspired by the invention of Corvus (boarding device) by the Roman Navy to counter the superior Carthaginian Navy amidst the First Punic war. The Romans were superior on land whereas the Carthaginians outmatched the Romans in Naval Conflicts as the Carthage Empire's main source of income was trade(Carthage was strategically situated to control the trade route in the Mediterranean) and to protect it they built a strong Navy. The Romans identified their weakness and Corvus was introduced which intended to turn a Naval Conflict into a Land Battle.
