:Propose renaming :Category:Missions to asteroids to :Category:Missions to minor planets

:Nominator's rationale: This one was part of last month's renaming of :Category:Missions to the planets, but was one that didn't quite reach a full consensus as to its name (aside from the need to split it from the missions-to-comets category, which has, obviously, been done). I believe that this should use the "minor planets" naming, as it is more scientific and more inclusive than "asteroids". The Bushranger _{One ping only} 04:38, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

• Comment. When I closed the referenced discussion, I didn't see consensus to change asteroids to minor planets, and I think I understand why. There is something very clear about the missions that are described as going to asteroids. The definition of minor planets includes a very wide range of objects, and it seems uncomfortable to lose the specificity of the simple term "asteroids." I'd probably keep the asteroids category and make it a subcategory of a new :Category:Missions to minor planets. I'm not wedded to that opinion, though.--Mike Selinker (talk) 05:59, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

• Hmm. That's a thought, but "small Solar System bodies" is a bit ambiguous. However, Mike's suggestion of creating :Category:Missions to minor planets as a supercategory would work - with the Pluto missions subcat under it as well, as dwarf planets are also minor planets (but comets are not). - The Bushranger _{One ping only} 06:33, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

:Nominator's rationalte: There is only one person in this category. It would be better to simply put the person in question into the :Category:Genderqueer people and :Category:LGBT pornographic film actors.
