Ballinode, also known as Bellanode ({{irish place name|Béal Átha an Fhóid}}),{{cite web|url = https://www.logainm.ie/40360.aspx |publisher = Placenames Database of Ireland | website = logainm.ie | title = Béal Átha an Fhóid / Bellanode | accessdate = 26 May 2021 }} is a village situated approximately {{convert|6|km|mi}} from Monaghan Town and {{convert|3|km|mi}} from Scotstown in County Monaghan, Ireland. The village, located in the Parish of Tydavnet, straddles the Monaghan Blackwater (a tributary of the River Corr, itself a tributary of the Ulster Blackwater) and has a Church of Ireland church with clock tower, cemetery, and church hall; one public house, and a takeaway.
