This category is for articles about theories setting forth a chronology that differs from the generally accepted academic consensus, or in the case of the ancient Near East "middle", "short" and other chronologies, different alternatives between which a clear academic consensus is still perhaps forming. The degree of scholarly support for these theories varies, but is near zero in most cases.
