This is a tracking category for CS1 citations that use {{para|url-status}} with a valid value when {{para|archive-url}} is empty or omitted. While not an error, CS1 and CS2 templates that have {{para|url-status}} but not {{para|archive-url}} should be repaired.

To repair, if the value is live, either:

• add both {{para|archive-url}} and {{para|archive-date}} (see WP:LINKROT and WP:Citing sources for more information),

or

• remove {{para|url-status}}.

To repair, if the value is dead, either:

• add both {{para|archive-url}} and {{para|archive-date}} (see WP:LINKROT and WP:Citing sources for more information),

or

• remove {{para|url-status}} and add {{tl|dead link}} after the citation template.

Otherwise, replace the citation or add {{para|archive-url}} and {{para|archive-date}}. Pages in this category should be added only by Module:Citation/CS1.

Pages with this condition are automatically placed in {{#invoke:cs1 documentation support|help_text_cats|maint_url_status|pages=yes}}.
