For asteroid discoveries, the assigned alphabetic name should be used as the sortkey. Otherwise, the asteroid's provisional designation should be used. For example:

• 24899 Dominiona would use Dominiona.
• (7641) 1986 TT6 would use 1986 TT6.
• 2007 WD5 would simply use 2007 WD5.
