:Category talk:Buildings and structures in Monmouthshire

Should :Category:Buildings and structures in Monmouth exist? This would be a subcategory of :Category:Buildings and structures in Monmouthshire, and would contain Monmouth buildings and structure — analogous to :Category:Buildings and structures in Newport. The rationale is that :Category:Buildings and structures in Monmouthshire is starting to get large, and will only increase.

NB: :Category:Buildings and structures in Monmouth existed before, when it was created and populated by myself. However, I was urged to undo the category population as per here and to wait for consensus to develop. Unfortunately, the category then got deleted (on the grounds that it was empty) without any discussion taking place.

So I now want to have the discussion here (I hope this is the right place). I suggest people indicate "support" or "oppose" below, along with reasons.—A bit iffy (talk) 17:09, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
