David Zurutuza Veillet (born 19 July 1986) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a central midfielder.

Early years

Club career
Zurutuza joined Real Sociedad's youth system after starting his football career in Deba, Gipuzkoa. Zurutuza spent the following campaign with Real's B team in the Segunda División B, suffering relegation.
