Dennis Sproul (born July 17, 1956) is an American former professional football quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). Sproul played little league baseball in Maywood, California with his brother "Dale Jr." and father coach, and the team was nicknamed "the Maywood Merchants". Sproul played shortstop and second base along with friends Rick Costello, Larry Wiemers, Pete Tereshuck and Richie Robles.

He also played quarterback for ASU.
