Ady Macauley was born on the 01 December 1978 in Sierra Leone. He pursued his higher education in law at the University of London in 1998, achieving an LLB(Hons).

Between 2002 and 2004 passed the bar at the Inns of Court School of Law in City University, London and the Sierra Leone Law School and became a barrister, gaining recognition for his expertise in legal matters.
