Standing at 1.82 metres (6 feet), Emily began her football journey at grassroots level with Heron Way FC and Horsham Sparrows FC before progressing through the youth academies of Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea. In 2019, Emily joined Chelsea's senior team. She was loaned to Crystal Palace for the 2021–2022 season, where she made 20 appearances. In the 2023–2024 season, was loaned to Reading, making 17 appearances.
