Haim Nissenson (or Carlos Jaime Nissensohn)
Haim Nissenson (born October 24th 1949) is an Israeli business executive, with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. He began his career as Chief Economist and Strategic Planning Manager at TEVA Pharmaceuticals, Israel. He served as the CEO of RADA Electronic Industries, a defense electronics and aerospace company listed was listed on NASDAQ, for 18 years. Nissenson has notable experience as leading Consultant in the public listing process for US and Israeli companies in the technology / AI / defense sector. Nissenson’s career reflects a diverse portfolio in strategic financial consulting and executive management within the relevant business community.
Biography
Early life
Nissenson was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 24th 1949. He was the 4th of 5 children of Eliezer and Elena Nissensohn (father was a lawyer and mother was highly involved in charity activities). He immigrated to Israel, with his family in 1955, raised in Ramat Gan where he graduated from “Blich” High School. Nissenson served in the Israeli Defense Forces Air Defense gaining the rank of Captain.
Nissenson studied Economics at Tel Aviv University (graduated in 1974). Nissenson worked in the University as a Researcher in the Faculty of Economics and system programmer in University Computer Center.
Career
Nissenson began his business career as Chief Economist and Strategic Planning Manager at TEVA Pharmaceuticals reporting to TEVA’s legendary CEO, Eli Horovitz. Nissenson held the position from 1976 to 1980. During this period, he participated in a number of M&A deals, in which TEVA acquired the majority of the pharmaceutical companies, becoming the largest Pharmaceutical Company in Israel.
In 1980 Nissenson was approached to become the CEO of RADA Electronic Industries, at the time a small Israeli company in the business of maintenance of military aircraft. Following a quick turnaround, by 1985, as CEO, Nissenson took RADA public to NASDAQ becoming one of the first privately owned Israeli companies to be listed on a National US Exchange. Concurrently Nissenson initiated pioneering projects like AIR Combat Evaluation System using GPS location, DTA (Data Transfer Equipment), CATS (Commercial Aviation Test System), a system sold to Airlines like British Airways, Alitalia, Air Mauritius, United Airlines, IAI, Olympic and SAS. During his tenure RADA acquired 2 US companies, and was also involved in several projects with the Israeli government, including the Navy, Army and Airforce. During the 18 years that Nissenson held the position of the CEO of RADA, the Company evolved to a renowned defense electronics and aerospace company, with its technology operating in Aircraft, Submarines, naval corvettes and in the space. In 1990 RADA – with Nissenson as CEO - was awarded the prize of Enterprise of the Year by Yedioth Ahronoth, the largest Israeli daily newspaper.
In 1999, after leaving Rada, Nissenson founded and served as CEO of Dionysos Investments Ltd, a firm providing managerial and financial consulting services. In this capacity, Nissenson together with his son Neev consulted to various companies in matters related to positioning, finance strategies, listing in the US exchanges and M&A.
Nissenson has notable experience as leading Consultant in the public listing process and management for US and Israeli companies in the technology / AI / defense sectors. Nissenson’s career reflects a diverse portfolio in strategic financial consulting and executive management within the business community.

2021 - Omniq Corp [Uplisting to Nasdaq, raise of capital, acquisition of HTS the Machine vision company and Dangot Computers in Israel)
BRAINSTORM CELL Therapeutics (BCLI) the developer of products for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, had also appointed Haim Nissenson as strategic financial consultant.
Community Involvement
RADA’s manufacturing and R&D was based in Beth Shean which is considered a “rural Area” in Israel, where Nissenson was involved in the Community, contributing to Technological Education, Culture and Sport. He enabled the establishment of electronics studies in the Beth Shean High Schools and offered grants through RADA for Engineering degrees to the graduates. He was the Honorary President of Hapoel Beth Shean Football Club while it was playing in the Israeli premier league. Nissenson was also involved in other Charity Foundations in Beth Shean.
Family
Nissenson’s first marriage was in 1971 with Bilha Nissenson. Together they raised 3 children, Guy, Neev and Tal.
His eldest son, Guy Nissenson, passed away in 2021, was an Israeli-Multinational entrepreneur. As founder and CEO of a US Publicly traded company - NTS/Xfone - he enjoyed a major success, selling the company in 2014. Nissenson’s second son, Neev, is an Israeli CFO with vast experience with management and financing of US private and publicly traded companies. Nissenson’s daughter, Tal is the CEO of a highly sophisticated in Cyber company, following a VP position in a Digital Marketing leading publicly traded company.
In 2019 Nissenson married Malka (Mali) Nissenson (Pniewski) mother of two daughters Hila - studying for PHD in Brain Science and Liat - graduate in Education and working in the family office. Malka was the previous CEO and majority owner of Shalgal Food Ltd and currently, after selling the company, manages the family office focusing on investments in profitable companies and real estate.
Haim Nissenson had two brothers and two sisters. His brother Meir is involved in a few High Tech initiatives and served as the CEO of IBM Israel, his brother Zvi Bar-Nes is a founder of the Hilan computing company. His sister Aliza Rothbard (passed away on 2016), was the Director of IT at the Bank of Israel and the Chief Computing Officer of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. His younger sister, Yehudit Tiomkin, is a well known philanthropist supporting the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, the organization aiding abused women and the Reichman University.
