Early Life and Education
Mahesh Shukla was born in a village in India. He completed his early education in his hometown before moving to Allahabad (now Prayagraj) for higher studies. He pursued a Management Diploma in Business Administration from ICFAI and later obtained an MBA in Finance and Financial Management Services from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi.
Career
He began his career in 2006, working with several banks, including Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, and Barclays. Throughout his tenure in the banking sector, he gained expertise in areas such as retail banking, risk management, process improvement, digital transformation, and business development.
In 2017, Shukla founded PayMe India, a fintech company focused on providing financial services to underserved populations in India. He has been involved in the company's strategic direction and efforts to offer accessible and affordable financial solutions.
