Matthew Kearney is an American politician. A Republican, he represents the Penn Cambria School District in Cambria County, Pennsylvania as a school director. In addition to holding office in Penn Cambria, Kearney serves as the Secretary for the Blair/Cambria Young Republicans.
Early life and education
Matthew Kearney grew up in Cambria County, Pennsylvania. He obtained his high-school diploma from the Penn Cambria School District and attends Saint Francis University in hopes of graduating with an accounting degree.
Political career
Matthew Kearney started his political career by running for Penn Cambria School District's school board. He successfully won a seat. He serves as a legislative aid to Congressman John Joyce and also serves on the board of the Blair/Cambria Young Republicans. Kearney announced his intent to run for re-election in March 2025.
