Sarita Kaushik is an Indian journalist currently serving as the Executive Editor of ABP Majha, a Marathi news channel operated by the ABP Network. Early life and education

Career

Kaushik began her journalism career at The Hitavada, specializing in political and internal security reporting. In 2008, she joined ABP Network as Bureau Chief for Maharashtra. She became Deputy Executive Editor in August 2022 and shortly afterward assumed her current role as Executive Editor of ABP Majha.

As the host of The Zero Hour, she moderates expert discussions on critical current affairs topics, solidifying her reputation as a leading journalist in Marathi media.

Personal life

Sarita Kaushik comes from a culturally rich family. Her father, Gopal Kaushik, was a respected vocalist, musician and composer whose work was admired by legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. Her mother, Asha Kaushik, was a professor of Marathi literature. Their creative and literary influence played a formative role in shaping Sarita’s interests in writing, media, and storytelling.

Kaushik resides in Maharashtra and maintains interests in music, culinary arts, and fitness activities such as squash and walking.
