Frank was a sixth-round pick by San Francisco 49ers out of Northern Arizona in the 1990 NFL Draft.{{Cite web |title=1990 NFL Draft Listing |url=https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/1990/draft.htm |access-date=2023-05-26 |website=Pro-Football-Reference.com |language=en}} He played in the NFL for eight seasons, playing in 90 games at guard and tackle with the 49ers and the Denver Broncos.
