Harriet Tubman Grave is an historic gravesite located in Fort Hill Cemetery at Auburn, in Cayuga County, New York. The granite gravestone marks the resting place of famed African-American abolitionist and Christian Harriet Tubman, who was born into slavery in Maryland in the United States in 1822.
The gravestone marker is approximately three feet tall, and was erected in 1937 by the Empire State Federation of Women's Clubs. The original marker from 1915 was sponsored by the Harriet Tubman Neighborhood Club out of New York, New York. Marie Jackson Stuart was the president of this women's club and designed the original marker.{{cite web |title=Bound For The Promised Land: Harriet Tubman, Portrait of an American Hero |url=http://www.harriettubmanbiography.com/_wsn/page13.html |website=Harriet Tubman Biography |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20080227060032/http://www.harriettubmanbiography.com/_wsn/page13.html |access-date=7 March 2023|archive-date=2008-02-27 }}{{cite web |title=Cultural Landscapes Inventory |url=http://npshistory.com/publications/hart/cli-ame-zion-church.pdf |website=Thompson Memorial A.M.E. It is carved with the name "Harriet Tubman Davis (1820–1913)" on the front. On the back is an inscription commemorating Tubman's work with the Underground Railroad and her role as scout and nurse during the Civil War. The religious faith that marked all her activities is noted with the inscription "Servant of God, Well Done." The gravesite is located on Fort Hill Cemetery's "West Lawn C", beneath a large tree, with two small bushes on each side of her headstone.
Harriet Tubman's grave is the focus of an annual pilgrimage by the Thompson AME Zion Church to commemorate her life and work.{{cite web| url = https://cris.parks.ny.gov/| archive-url = http://webarchive.loc.gov/all/20190404141934/https://cris.parks.ny.gov/| url-status = dead| archive-date = 2019-04-04| title = Cultural Resource Information System (CRIS)| publisher = New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation| format = Searchable database| access-date = 2016-04-01}} Note: This includes {{cite web | url = https://cris.parks.ny.gov/Uploads/ViewDoc.aspx?mode=A&id=36199&q=false | title = National Register of Historic Places Registration Form: Harriet Tubman Grave | access-date = 2016-04-01 | author = Susanne R.
