Ban

The editor of the magazine, Mir Hussein Mehdavi, was arrested and charged with blasphemy. He was later ordered to be released but could still face trial.{{Cite web |title=Afghanistan: Karzai Fails on Press Freedom (Human Rights Watch Press release, New York, June 24, 2003) |url=https://www.hrw.org/legacy/press/2003/06/afghan062403.htm#:~:text=Editors%20of%20Kabul%20Newspaper%20Still,of%20debating%20its%20future%20constitution. |access-date=2025-05-18 |website=www.hrw.org}}
