Bowls career

= World Championships =

In 1977 she won the gold medal in the triples with Enid Morgan and Joan Osborne, bronze medal in the fours with Morgan, Osborne and Janet Ackland and a silver medal in the team event (Taylor Trophy), at the 1977 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Worthing.{{cite web|url=https://bowlstawa.nz/titles/players/titles/2708|title=Profile|publisher=Bowls Tawa}} In 1980, she took part in the world championship qualifier at the Whitnash Bowls Club for the 1981 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Canada.{{cite news |url=https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/viewer/bl/0001523/19800619/568/0038 |title=Top bowlers at ladies' championship |work=Banbury Guardian |date=19 June 1980 |via=British Newspaper Archive|url-access=subscription |access-date=23 August 2024}}

Eleven years later she won a bronze medal at the 1988 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Auckland.
