Southeastern Louisiana's baseball facility, Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field, is named for him. The diamond was dedicated on February 19, 2006.{{cite web|title=Baseball Facilities, photo 15|url=http://www.lionsports.net/photo_gallery.aspx?gallery=22|work=Lion Sports|access-date=August 12, 2011|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20111004145527/http://www.lionsports.net/photo_gallery.aspx?gallery=22|archive-date=4 October 2011|url-status=live|date=February 25, 2009}}
