The Plant Proteome Database is a National Science Foundation-funded project to determine the biological function of each protein in plants.Sun Q, Zybailov B, Majeran W, Friso G, Olinares PD, van Wijk KJ. (2008) PPDB, the Plant Proteomics Database at Cornell. Nucleic Acids Res. 2 Oct It includes data for two plants that are widely studied in molecular biology, Arabidopsis thaliana and maize (Zea mays).
