Only a very minority of Pashtuns have adoptet the iranic ceremony of marriage, only those who live in Kabul, Herat, Mazar, Kandahar... toward Tajiks and cultural persianized people, like Uzbek Turks. The figure of those Pashtuns who live with Tajiks and in Tajik society is very less, perhaps lesser than 5% since this count is the official number of the settlers. A normal Afghan marriage looks another like. The same thing we can say about those Pshtuns who live in Punjab or India where they have adoptet the punjabi and indian culture. So therefore i have changed some informations. A Pashtun marriage ceremony is made of by Atan, the Pashtun tradition dance and gun fires to the air after that the bride will get to her husband´s house either on a donkey or on a camel (symbols for wealth).--84.59.202.126 (talk) 18:04, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
