Acquittal? Is there a source that says he was acquitted?
:The article would imply the perpetrator was found guilty as punishment was scheduled to be carried out, on two different occasions, but this has not happened. Remember this is happening under "Islamic criminal law" where an eye for an eye is taken literally and is a permitted punishment for an assault causing bodily injury. Unfortunately, the article lacks coverage of the trial, verdict and sentencing, so the findings of the Court are not apparent. This is an area where the article could be improved. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 00:42, 5 June 2021 (UTC)
