A reminecences following the death of David Coleman.

David Coleman was commentating when Ann Packer raced in the 800 metres at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

As she neared the final bend, she was trailing badly and Coleman clearly said "Packer's out if it". But suddenly she accelerated and won.

This clip was replayed many times on TV.

However, in subsequent years, every time I have seen the item those words were either edited out or the clip started just after they had been spoken.

Why?
