Which commentators and historians? Every one knows the Dutch had a horrific record during the Holocaust and many more men and women should have been tried for crimes against humanity, but it is impossible to extrapolate from a sample of one. :I agree this needs to come out, because the contention that she was executed in part because she was Jewish and a lesbian is not supported by the citations given.
