Considering most of the data in the article was incorrect, I've also removed this statement which doesn't make complete sense chemically: "Anthrapurpurin is obtained from the anthraquinone, 1, 2, 6 disulphonic acid by fusion with sodium hydroxide and potassium chlorate in the same manner that alizarin is obtained from the monosulphonic acid."
