Small inaccuracies

“Toomey was head coach in track and field at the University of California at Irvine in the early 1970s. Before that he worked as a television broadcaster and marketing consultant.”

I don’t know exactly when he started, but he was still Head Track & Field Coach at UCI in’75. Also, he was a broadcaster at the same time he was coach, not just before. I didn’t edit the article because I know there are restrictions on sources for biography of living people. The source of this information is me. I was a member of that team in 1975. I spoke to Coach Toomey one time at practice, and he told me he was on is way to broadcast a Judo tournament on TV. (He asked me because he’d heard I’d taken judo lessons as a kid, and wanted to pick my brain, but I’d taken it for just a few months,so I wasn’t much help. :) Synaptidude (talk) 04:00, 5 August 2024 (UTC)
