Variety of CO2 sensors

A great many principles, technologies, and techniques are applicable/applied to sensing CO2; Dr. R.A. Zakaria's thesis https://dspace.lib.cranfield.ac.uk/bitstream/1826/6784/1/Ryad_Adbdullah_Zakaria_Thesis_2010.pdf contains an excellent summary with many references. This page needs to extend beyond NDIR and chemical. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sillyvalley (talkcontribs) 19:36, 14 October 2014 (UTC)

Sensors in modern buildings, ...

See: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diskussion:Kohlenstoffdioxid#CO2_Sensoren_in_der_Raum-L.C3.BCftungstechnik (German) about CO2-sensors in camping caravans, with rescue teams, in energy high-efficent buildings to regulate air flux to demand.

Example for a Building: LifeCycleTower in Feldkirch (A) 2012 by [http://www.cree.at www.cree.at] and for a sensor [http://www.ge-mcs.com/en/co2/wall-mount/t5000-.html CO2-Sensor T5000 von GE-MCS]. --Helium4 (talk) 16:14, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

CO2 equivalent

I just removed the link to the page "Global Warming Potential". The term "CO2 equivalent" on that page refers to a phenomenon that occurs only outdoors, whereas the term on this page only applies to gases indoors. Also, I moved the citations around a little bit, to clarify that Ruffer uses the term "estimated CO2" whereas Herberger uses "CO2 equivalent".

Merge with "Carbon dioxide recorder"

I suggest to merge the lemma Carbon dioxide recorder into Carbon dioxide sensor.

Reason: Same working principle, only difference is the memory function and different display to show history data. -- Angerdan (talk) 17:54, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
