This page should be titled Glycol Ethers, not Cellosolve. Because it is a trade name, it can be mentioned as a synonym. However, calling glycol ethers cellosolve is akin to calling all pop Coca-Cola. Bcirker 15:08, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

Use in hydraulic fracturing

The article should mention the use of glycol ethers in hydraulic fracturing or fracking. __meco (talk) 23:04, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Foetus impact

Another Wikipedia page on whistleblowers says

"André Cicolella showed that malformation of foetus are associated with professional exposition of their mothers to glycol ethers. The French Institute for Research and Security decided not to allow him to chair or participate in a symposium that he was organising on health risks linked with ether glycols and fire him. In 1998, justice confirms that the researcher was right."

Can anybody add this info, referenced, to this article?

Brake fluid

This article is linked from the Brake fluid article, but no mention is made here of brake fluid. Also; there is little or no mention here of any chemical or physical properties of these compounds. Steve8394 (talk) 20:04, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
