She was an actor who played a character in Buffy and Angel. Why is she considered part of the "Buffyverse?" This should be removed as it will lead to the article being from a "Buffy-biased" perspective (See Buffy as her only notable role as an example of this.)

Remove Julie Benz from the "Buffyverse"?! Absolutely not! Julie's character, Darla, is a HUGE part of the "Buffyverse". If you know anything at all about Buffy, then you know that it was Darla who sired (created) Angel, who sired Drusilla who sired Spike. Technically speaking, if it hadn't been for Darla, we wouldn't have some of the more popular characters from the show! While it's true that she was only on 6 episodes of Buffy, the character of Darla was a recurring role on the spin-off show Angel. When I recently [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Julie_Benz&diff=375684980&oldid=375359497 changed the filmography to tabular format], I also removed duplicate information from the main body of text. There is little point in stating, "She was in this show, and then she was in that show and that show and that show before appearing in that show." That's precisely the sort of information that a table is good at presenting, without a mass of text in paragraphs to read through. 78.147.151.20 [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Julie_Benz&diff=376749524&oldid=376702923 re-added] the removed duplicate text, though did not revert the table formatting. I was glancing through this, and I saw that this article says that Benz was "the only white person featured in the principle cast of the romantic comedy The Brothers." Is it really necessary to add that she was white? It's not like it was an accomplishment. She was just cast as the only white character in a predominantly black movie. Her filmography is quite long and there's no way to easily tell which credits are film and which are television. Many other actress articles have two separate tables for these categories and I propose we do that here as well. Any thoughts? -- Fyrefly (talk) 15:34, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
