Things that are not the case

She was never a Premier at all.

She was not the first female Chief Minister - that was Rosemary Follett (ALP).

Her only claim to fame is the first female Chief Minister representing the Liberal Party. But so what?

She may have been lobbying to take over Margaret Reid's senate seat, but that did not eventuate and another former Chief Minister Gary Humphries is now the Liberal Senator for the ACT.

Maiden name?

Is there any available record of it? I have a private note that it was Frazer, but I can't confirm that anywhere. -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 12:28, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

: I see that her ex-spouse Ian Carnell's article says she was née Frazer, while this one says née Knowlman. Was there a marriage before Carnell, perhaps? Or did she change her birth name because her mother remarried, perhaps? -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 03:14, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
