Appearance on the Colbert Report

Katherine's official website (http://www.katherinereutter.com/) has a journal section, where the Dec 16, 2009 entry seems to disagree with the content of this article. Her journal reads:

So I bet you're wondering about the leg signing.... Yes, he knew it was coming; and it was my manager, Pat Quinn's, idea. As soon as Pat suggested it I thought it was hilarious and got my sharpie ready. Amy, the talent coordinator on the show, told Stephen about my request and he was all for it! I have to wonder if he had made the connection that I wanted for him to sign my thigh on camera because he did such a good job at acting surprised when I asked! Either way I managed to fluster the man who is virtually un-flusterable. I've never seen anyone catch him so off guard before!

-which seems to contradict both that the thigh-signing was her idea and that Colbert was unaware or "caught off guard"71.202.41.107 (talk) 07:28, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
