Needs Significant Editing and STyle changes...

I have attempted to fix up some of the poor writing and completely unobjective style, but got tired and quit. I hope someone who knows Bates's accomplishments and history can come in and contribute--it is sorely needed. Chafe66 (talk) 06:06, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
