what are some examples of a monomer?

Seriously, one cannot explain one concept in terms of more advanced concepts.

Sorry, but neither must a monomer be a small molecule nor must the monomers in oligo- or multimers be chemically bonded to each other. I would think that DNA would be a very good counter example to the definition given. Halx (talk) 11:18, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
