Reverted claims about cold fusion
An IP user added a paragraph about "anomalous heat evolution", claiming that a much larger heat evolution was measured than the standard thermodynamic value. If this was true, it would provide an abundant source of energy: more heat would be released in the formation of water from hydrogen and oxygen than what is needed to break the water back into hydrogen and oxygen. It would violate the conservation of energy. Such an exceptional claim would require multiple high-quality sources. The authors write about "low energy nuclear reaction (LENR)", which is a code name for cold fusion, which scientists have failed to replicate. I have removed the paragraph. --TuomoS (talk) 08:24, 16 February 2025 (UTC)
