While information from a descendant is appreciated, one must keep in mind that: 1.) wikipedia is an encyclopedia and information should be presented in a format suitable for same; 2.) once notability has been established, it behooves us to limit the length of entries so they remain readable; and 3.) while some family information is acceptable (and, in fact, desirable, as it gives a concrete sense of time and place), too much can be a hindrance. So I am reverting the changes, and hoping the well-intentioned descendant of this fascinating man will familiarize herself with wikipedia style and re-add at some future date in a style more in keeping with wikipedia, and at some lesser length.
