Missing Haaretz definition

Sadly the article is missing the Haaretz definition to the detest some Jews have and had for ultra-orthodox Jews and their beliefs.פשוט pashute ♫ (talk) 10:50, 27 May 2022 (UTC)

Here's a book describing it [https://press.syr.edu/supressbooks/567/assimilated-jews-in-the-warsaw-ghetto-1940-1943/ Assymilated Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto] Katarzyna Person, Syracuse University Press. 2014

And here are two articles in Hebrew about 1881-1882 and the change from emancipated West-European Jews who tried to distance themselves from the Jewish religion, Jewish culture, and Jewish people of the east, and what changed their outlook to begin seeing them as fellow Jews:

  • [https://lib.cet.ac.il/pages/item.asp?item=21213 1881-2 as the point of change for the history of the Jews in the new age] Jonathan Frankel
  • [https://humanities.tau.ac.il/sites/humanities.tau.ac.il/files/media_server/humanities/zionism/ציונות/יב/6.pdf Zionism as a shift. German Jews and Jewish immigrants] Moshe Zimmermann 1987

Here's an old article in Hebrew from the time of the British madate on Palestine in which [https://benyehuda.org/read/497 Zionist writers were being accused of self heatred] (One of the accused, Joseph Brenner, was murdered by Arabs during the Arab Revolt, shortly after the article was written)

And about self hatred in English:

  • [https://academic.oup.com/leobaeck/article-abstract/50/1/233/945842?redirectedFrom=fulltext&login=false Jewish Self Hatred: Nietzche Freud and the case of Theodore Lessing], Jacob Golomb, in The Leo Baeck Institute Year Book, Volume 50, Issue 1, January 2005, Pages 233–245

Back to today, the WP article is bringing at length Noam Chomsky's denial to the claim that he is a typical "Self Hating Jew", while giving no space for the widely accepted claims against Israel Shahak anti talmudic views and Robert Faurisson's affiliations.פשוט pashute ♫ (talk) 16:16, 27 May 2022 (UTC)

Oxymoron

perceptions are subjective not objective. The very first line is misleading and borderline propaganda. 2601:1C0:CA00:A1D0:D479:EEAE:304C:F228 (talk) 21:43, 2 October 2023 (UTC)

"Descriptions of the concept" section

The section, a list of bullet point quotes, is very unusual. I haven’t seen this style in other articles. It was created about five years ago by {{u|JerzyA}}.[https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Self-hating_Jew&diff=prev&oldid=960437238]

It would be better if the points made by the quoted people were spread throughout the article in their natural places.
