I have removed the {{Transwikied to Wiktionary}} tag because no Wiktionary definition exists as of now and the article, even if short, is more than a dictionary definition. This article links to several other Wikipedia articles and several other articles link here. Cacycle 08:59, 30 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Disambiguation:Side Chain

Sidechain is also a term in music, which describes a synth- or bassline having its volume modulated by a kick drum. It can also be achieved by triggering a compressor on the kick drum.

Disambiguation of side chain/side-chain

I have created a disambiguation page at side-chain to differentiate between the topics side chain and substituent, which both apparently use the term side chain (also spelled side-chain). I put a disambiguation notice at the top of the side chain article. It may not be the most elegant disambiguation, and I do not know how to use the disambiguation templates, so you are welcome to modify it, if you would like to do so. In addition, there are terms like pendant group and pendant chain that may require disambiguation. -- Kjkolb (talk) 02:53, 21 March 2014 (UTC)

Assessment comment

{{Substituted comment|length=254|lastedit=20070219030526|comment=Rated "high" as the term is used in high school biology, e.g. refering to the side chains of amino acids in a protein. The article should be expanded with a section on relevant protein chemistry. - tameeria 03:05, 19 February 2007 (UTC)}}
