What happened with this innovation? It appears that a Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge was given in 1999. On ACS's [Green Chemistry Educational Resources green chemistry educational resources page], there's a section "[http://portal.acs.org/preview/PublicWebSite/greenchemistry/education/resources/CTP_005623 Bleaching With Green Oxidation Chemistry]" dedicated to this innovation which mentions its use in laundry. And it is mentioned in 2005 on [http://books.google.com/books?id=McUi1PN4jgEC&pg=PA378&lpg=PA378&dq=tetraamido-macrocyclic+ligand+TAML+laundry&source=bl&ots=qoIjr86xgh&sig=nmEn3IX0D7-9VaUWMIejOmv26fc&hl=en&ei=JW5GTYaAJ4mosAP017G3Cg&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=5&ved=0CC4Q6AEwBA#v=onepage&q&f=false page 378 of Collin & Baird's Environmental Chemistry] again as having all this potential. But there's no mention of how prevalent its use in business is, and no consumer products mention it in laundry that I can find. II | (t - c) 08:24, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
