Toxicity

The article claims no ill effects from moderate consumption of tomatine, but I know many people that get diarrhea, cramps, etc. from normal-sized servings of tomato products, such as sauce. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.77.221.61 (talk) 05:06, 6 August 2017 (UTC)

:I know people who get similar reactions to consuming dairy products, and other people who react similarly to foods with gluten. That's not an argument for milk or wheat being toxic.

:Likewise, some people having a bad reaction to a fruit that millions of people consume every day with no ill effect is not an argument for that fruit's toxicity. 2601:40D:4300:6F60:C0C0:CFD:2AE7:5E6A (talk) 01:08, 27 August 2022 (UTC)

Yellow tomatoes

Isn't tomatine also contained in huge amounts in yellow tomatoes? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 01:48, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
