"WICU was the first channel 12 to be licensed in the US"

Where did you get this information?

slimmin' down?

I was looking for a weather report up in Erie, and noticed by chance that the 12 in the logo seems...ummmm....less chubby? So, was this logo revised recently? Seems not to be on the wiki.--{{SUBST:User:Coryma}} 06:49, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

Removed the 2 1/2 plan statment

I have never seen any such allocation table or plan for each city having 2 VHF stations and half of one as in UHF. Since there is no source I removed it. Please do not revert it unless you can provide reliable back up for it

Titles

Are we sure that it wasn't called "ICU News" until 1980? On youtube, Ray Glasser (videoholic) has a clip from 1977 where it is titled "ICU News" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mfullererie (talkcontribs) 09:08, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

The news on Channel 12 was always called 'ICU News' from station inception in 1949 until switching to 'NewsCenter 12' in 1987. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.66.126.75 (talk) 23:57, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
