Birth year 1731
PBS says that William was born in [http://www.pbs.org/benfranklin/1731-2.html 1731]. The month and day is unknown, but if PBS says it, then so be it. MagnoliaSouth (talk) 20:55, 12 November 2011 (UTC)

Skemp who?
The "American War of Independence" section reference to Skemp is footnoted [who?]. Looking at the references, this is evidently William Franklin's biographer Sheila Skemp. Suggest expanding "Skemp" to "William's biographer Sheila Skemp" to resolve the confusion.
