Tijs Tinbergen ({{IPA|nl|tɛis ˈtɪmbɛrɣə(n)}}; born {{c.|3 July 1947}} in {{illm|Hulshorst|af||fr||nl|}})[http://snv.courant.nu/issue/NV/1947-07-04/edition/0/page/2 Birth announcement] in Nunspeet Vooruit, 4 July 1947. is a Dutch filmmaker.

Tinbergen is the son of Tilde Frensdorf (1922–2014) and the ornithologist Luuk Tinbergen (1915–1955). He is the nephew of the Nobel Prize-winning brothers Jan and Niko Tinbergen.
