There is a wide range of opportunities for UK individuals and companies to enter their work: from genre-led video categories, to prizes for individuals in the technical and craft areas of the business, to recognition for innovative approaches to music videos, ads and other visuals.{{Cite news |url=http://www.musicweek.com/media/read/bowie-beyonce-and-radiohead-among-uk-music-video-awards-nominees/066022 |title=UK Music Video Awards returns; entries now open |date=June 28, 2016 |work=Music Week}} There are also awards for international videos and outstanding individuals, voted for by the MVA jury members.{{Cite news |url=http://www.nme.com/news/music/foals-99-1247060 |title=Foals, Florence + The Machine, James Blake nominated for UK Music Video Awards |date=October 13, 2013 |work=mdy}} The Awards take place in the autumn, with the entry process opening in early August.
