The USSR Academy of Medical Sciences ({{langx|ru|Акаде́мия медици́нских нау́к СССР}}) was the highest scientific and medical organization founded in the Soviet Union founded in 1944.{{cite journal|title=Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR|journal=Public Health Reports|date=September 1960|volume=75|issue=9|pages=840|pmc=1929489|pmid=19316366}} Its successor is the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences founded in 1992,{{cite web|title=Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Moscow, Russia|url=http://www.worldhealthsummit.org/index.php?id=276|publisher=World Health Summit|access-date=18 December 2010|url-status=dead|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110102200601/http://www.worldhealthsummit.org/index.php?id=276|archive-date=2 January 2011}} and is a part of the Russian Academy of Sciences since 2013.
