== Forensic Investigation in Eswatini ==
In 2021, the Government of Eswatini appointed Lande Consulting, a South African forensic auditing firm, to conduct an independent forensic investigation into the construction of the Nhlangano–Sicunusa Road and the Mphandze–Mbadlane Road. The investigation was commissioned by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Eswatini Parliament following concerns about alleged irregularities in procurement processes, project delivery, and the use of public funds.
Charles Munkuli, the founder and managing director of Lande Consulting, personally led the investigation. The inquiry focused on potential misconduct in relation to construction quality, contractor payments, deviations from tender procedures, and issues raised by the Auditor-General. Media coverage highlighted Munkuli's firm's role in assisting the PAC with uncovering financial mismanagement. The final report had not yet been released as of 2025, but parliamentary oversight bodies indicated it would inform future disciplinary and legal action.{{Cite news |title=Govt's Court Action in Sicunusa–Nhlangano Road Misconduct |url=http://www.times.co.sz/news/140167-govt%E2%80%99s-court-action-in-sicunusa-nhlangano-road-misconduct.html |work=Times of Swaziland |access-date=2025-05-24}}{{Cite news |title=Sicunusa Probe Continues |url=https://www.pressreader.com/eswatini/times-of-eswatini/20220712/281612424115983 |work=Times of Eswatini |date=12 July 2022 |access-date=2025-05-24}}{{Cite news |title=PAC Takes Action Over Road Project |url=https://www.pressreader.com/eswatini/times-of-eswatini/20220605/281745568028078 |work=Times of Eswatini |date=5 June 2022 |access-date=2025-05-24}}
